Sarah Husak: Violin and Viola

A native of Annapolis Maryland, Sarah Husak began her violin studies at a young age. She studied with both her mother and her father, who are string teachers and performers, until she went on to spend her high school years studying with Dr. Gerald Fischbach at the University of Maryland.

Mrs. Husak came to Ohio to study with Professor Alan Bodman at the University of Akron, where she earned both a Bachelor of Music in violin performance and a Master of Music in violin performance. In graduate school, she performed at the Spoleto Festival in Italy, and was selected to be a member of the Marini String Quartet. Currently, Mrs. Husak is a member of the Akron Symphony, Akron Baroque, and continues to teach privately and perform in the Akron area where she lives with her husband and daughter.
